This weekend I drilled and installed the new adjustable water bottle cage and water bottle and put the new green mission pedals (thanks to FatAlbert) on.  Also installed a cheap bicycle computer just to keep track of things until I find a mount for my Iphone that I like which will let me map riders.

You should plastiDip your helmet black to match the bike.  If you decide to go back to green just peel it off!!

I am shopping for a Chrome one & Maybe a Black one too, But i like the Bright Green for Safety, For when i ride in the Bike lane or on the side of the road, That way the Dumb Asses can SEE ME, i dont like to ride on the sidewalks, Makes me think though, because i almost get hit by a car 1 to 2 times a week, there are some Real Bad Bad Bad drivers out here in Maricopa AZ.

wutz up Sammy !!! ...........give him a work out.......make him pedal fast......up the hills & threw out !!!

C.W. ......if its your dogs 1st time.....you have to ride real slow for the 1st couple of times....till he gets it......hes going to want to cross over in front or in back at 1st.....most dogs do that........he may not .........then once he gets it ....( YOU WILL BE IN TROUBLE ) because it gets addicting for them and then they want to go all the time.....they will Bark most of the time....thats him saying LETS GO !!! ........GOOD LUCK !!!

WOOF WOOF !!! GO SAMMY !!!

When I first rode with my dog, she was a little afraid of the bike. Moved away from it but still along side. On the away back she was more comfortable and stayed close. Sometime got a little too close so I had to tap her with the front tire.

I used a long leash that I made from a tie down strap that had 2 "D" rings on one end. It's about 10ft long in which I wrap around my upper body across my chest. This gives me a much better anchor point in which I can pull her instead of her pulling the bike out of balance. I can counter her pull without changing direction.  On the other end I have a harness for her instead of a attaching it to a collar. Don't want to choke her.

Sadly this past weekend the Mongoose Beast got set aside as the other "BEAST", my 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R finally emerged from the garage.  Haven't ridden in a few years do to a shoulder and back injury from a car accident but decided that enough is enough, time to get the bike out and about again.  Rode about 200 miles as my shoulder and back start to act up. All in all, good ride and good times.  Now to get the mongoose Beast going.
