MONGOOSE FAT BIKES

 Just ordered my Beast yesterday. Really wanted the red but Walmart was sold out so green won the coin flip. But seriously did a coin flip for the color, got a green and blue sharpie, paint a quarter and flipped for it. Can't wait until the 3rd when it arrives.

Anyways, just wanted to thank FatAlbert333 for the videos on youtube. Awesome videos! Glad I saw the link to here and I know this is a new community and hopefully it will grow to a cool place.

My current bike is an older (9y/o) Schwinn S-25 full suspension.  Really like it but looking for something a bit different. Didn't have the budget to buy a Surly or another more popular brand.

Alright getting closer to get your BEAST !!! another day or 2 , 

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   

Took me longer to get my stand together than to put the Beast together.  Turn out the Beast is so heavy the it broke the 1/2 pipe stand I built.  Help my Schwinn S-25 just fine but the Beast is another story.  Luckly it held up until the very end then, snap right after I tightened the last bolt!!

So far no major mods.  Greased up all the bearings and went over all the nuts and bolts, not to mention removed all the reflectors and a few of the stickers ( Made in China, Mongoose name, website, and safety labels).

I actually like the gearing.  My driveway is a little steep and rode up pretty easy.

FatAlbert, did you say something about the pedals on the Beast being 9/16th???

How tall are you , make sure the seat is at the correct height , for when your legs are all the way down with a little bend in them , & you should be just find , ZZZZooooommmmm !!!
